Donations to The Young Singers of Flint Hall help to provide scholarships for students, resources for the choir, experiences with professional level musicians and teachers, and access to a beautiful performance space, and many other wonderful educational opportunities.


WHO WILL MY DONATION SUPPORT?

The Young Singers of Flint Hall, Inc. is a 501(c)3 choral education program for 10-14 year-old children who live in the North Georgia region. The choir was created in spring 2023 and launched in fall 2023 under the direction of Dr. Martha Shaw, conductor, and artistic director. Dedicated to excellence, the Young Singers of Flint Hall Choir Program has a twofold purpose. Membership offers professional-level instruction in vocal technique, music theory, sight singing, ear training, and presentation as well as exposure to a variety of choral styles. Involvement also enhances young people’s lives, helping them to develop qualities of self-reliance, personal integrity, responsibility, compassion, and confidence in their abilities.

WHAT WILL MY DONATION SUPPORT?

Donations to Young Singers of Flint Hall will support many wonderful aspects of our program!

  • Financial need-based scholarships

  • Resources for the choir

  • Experience with professional level musicians and teachers

  • Access to a beautiful performance space

  • Choir expansion to include a Tour Choir that will eventually travel to various locations for performances.

  • Professional recordings that can be distributed to NPR.
